We the Guardians
Environmental Education and Learning
If we want our children.......
- to become flexible, we should teach them in changing surroundings.
- to be eager to learn, we need to answer their questions.
to ask questions, we should teach them in diverse surroundings within context.
- to be involved in society, we should encourage them to practise their talents and interests in their own community.
- to grow in character, we should coach them in facing challenges.
- to be creative and innovative, then reward the process and their perseverance.
- to analyse and connect, then they need teachers who are themselves curious in finding answers.
- to become strong, we should give them a foundation to build on.
At We the Guardians, we are working towards a strong and capable generation and leaders that serve. This requires a context of diversity, responsibility, inquiry, cooperation, perseverance and character-building. Natural Curriculum, Multi generational Learning and Seasonal Cycle provide a context in which the requirements can be met.
To achieve these goals, we offer the following tools:
Lev

We believe that learning takes place within the family. As the child grows older the learning circle expands to the family, neighbourhood, village, city, region, province, nation and ithe international community. We should give the child ample opportunities to participate and explore each circle of society..We have divided each circle into seven sections. Each section can be explored on several levels. As the child grows older the parent will be able to see which sections have been activated on the different levels.,indicating interests, talents and skills.. Whether you teach your child full-time or once a week in the weekend, the principles remain the same.

How to enhance learning?
@
Nature: The natural surroundings provide a wide, integrated, deepening educational experience,
Multi Generational Learning. The learning experience is shared and stimulated by learning from people of different, ages, and with varied experience and talents. Thereafter, we put into practise what we have learnt.
Seasonal Learning: By a natural and repetitive cycle children can develop a strong character and emotional stability. This, in turn, equips them with tools for learning whereby they are able to develop their unique talents and increase their knowledge to enhance their stewardship.
We marvel at the diversity and depth in nature. As educators our desire is to see this generation develop their unique personalities, talents and interests. Lev is designed to merge with your own family and community activities. Lev will help offer your child quality and ongoing learning experiences during these challenging times.
